The family-favourite is opening five of its parks over the festive period this year

Haven holiday parks are ramping up their festive offerings, with five sites now offering Christmas breaks for Brits looking to enjoy a festive get together away from home.

Seashore in Great Yarmouth, Cala Gran, Rockley Park, Kent Coast and Primrose Valley will all be open to welcome guests over the Christmas period, and better still, there is still availability. With prices starting from £125 – or just £20 per person – guests can use the park as a base, or pay a little more to take part in a flurry of festive fun and seasonal activities.

Complete with caravans decked out with pre-lit Christmas trees, and an option for a traditional Christmas Day dinner in Haven’s restaurants, the company has curated a selection of weekend entertainment. One of many hotspots offering festive inspired packages like Wowcher’s German Christmas market deal or Holiday Cottages available to rent for the holiday.

This Haven includes daytime activities starring the likes of the Gruffalo and evenings packed with shows, headline acts, and DJs. 2024 is set to be a banner year for Haven, with an expected 3.6 million visitors marking a 13% increase from last year, buoyed by record-breaking summer bookings in July and August, reports Nottinghamshire Live.

Simon Palethorpe, CEO of Haven, expressed his excitement: “We are delighted to be able to bring the magic of Christmas to more of our parks across the UK. We had a record summer at Haven – but the demand is high all year-round including November and December and even those special days around Christmas Day itself.”

“People want to spend time together and have fun, and British holidays are still great value for money compared to going overseas. We’re investing to give families a great seaside getaway no matter the time of year.”

Celebrity mum and Loose Women presenter Stacey Solomon shared her experience at the Kent Coast holiday park earlier this year. In a post on Instagram, the mum of five said: “Time to say goodbye… The state of us. I had to bribe our family home from the caravan park today … because it’s back to school tomorrow.”

In the same post, Stacey added: “There must be some kind of stigma around holiday parks because so many of you messaged saying you couldn’t believe that’s where we’d chosen to go!”

Offering a bumper bunch of entertainment for Christmas, Haven guests can get as involved as they want to with breaks available to suit all budgets.

Starting at £125 for a three-night stay in a six-berth caravan, a Haven Hideaway break at the Kent Coast park gives guests easy access to the coastline and incredible countryside to blow away the cobwebs this winter. Guests will also be able to use the arcades, restaurants and takeaways on site, but wont have access to the swimming pools, activities and entertainment.

For families looking to really get into the festive spirit, Christmas break prices start from £195 for a three night stay at Kent Coast on December, 13. The higher price package includes a decorated Christmas tree inside each caravan, access to festive entertainment and activities (exclusive to Haven Holiday package), festive food and drink options available and Christmas decorations and lights across the park.

Santa will be paying a visit to each of the five parks, but a visit to meet him in Santa’s Grotto costs extra. Other festive weekenders available to book this year include Parkdean Winter Wonderland breaks from £129, while Sykes has cosy cottages available from £164 for three night stays throughout the Christmas period.
