Prince Harry was pictured attending an Invictus Games event in London this afternoon, Tuesday, May 7, as he continues his solo trip to the UK – and a body language expert has weighed in on his mood

Prince Harry is displaying bold signs on his long-awaited visit back to the UK that the previously “restricted and closed off” Duke has undergone a major transformation.

A body language expert has taken a good look at the estranged Prince’s swagger during his somewhat fraught solo trip to Blighty and has revealed Harry appears to have blossomed, becoming “his most confident self” and feeling “very positive and proud about where he is right now”.

The Duke of Sussex, who it was announced will not reunite with his father, King Charles, during his visit, and is thought highly unlikely to meet with his brother Prince William and sister-in-Law Kate Middleton. He is sadly believed to be in the midst of an unresolved royal rift with his family.

William and Kate’s ‘frightening fight’ means they won’t ‘deal with Harry Problem’

Darren Stanton, a body language expert with Betfair Slots, has revealed that Harry is clearly in “very high spirits” during his solo trip to the UK, despite being supposedly “snubbed” by his father. Harry, who has a busy schedule of activities lined up, was spotted at Armoury House in London on Tuesday, May 7, for an Invictus Games discussion titled ‘Realising a Global Community’. This marks his first appearance since arriving in the UK.

The prince flew in from his home in Montecito, California, to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games. However, it’s been revealed that he won’t be meeting with his father due to clashing schedules. Despite missing out on a reunion, the Duke doesn’t seem to be showing any signs of disappointment. In fact, Darren suggests that Harry is feeling “positive and proud.”

Darren told OK!: “Harry appears to be his most confident self during his return to the UK as he prepares for the Invictus Games. His body language suggests he’s feeling strong, as we can’t see him using self-reassurance gestures – which he often uses when feeling nervous. He is seen holding his head up high, with his shoulders back and displaying a bold grin. He’s developed a lot in terms of his inner strength and confidence. It tells us he is feeling very positive and proud about where he is right now. He is in very high spirits.”

As the Invictus Games, an organisation dear to Prince Harry, takes centre stage, Darren said the Prince is clearly offering his “full attention and engagement” to everyone he interacts with, indicating his boosted confidence. Harry’s consistent use of eye contact and assertive gestures make him appear “open and welcoming”, as opposed to “restricted and closed off”, which has been the case in the past. “He feels comfortable and at ease,” Darren added.

While Harry has so far travelled to the UK solo, his wife Meghan Markle is set to join him later in the week for a pre-scheduled trip to Nigeria. ITV news Royal editor Chris Ship revealed: ” Prince Harry travelled to the UK alone – without Meghan or the children Archie and Lilibet.” He added: “Meghan will not accompany Harry to the St Paul’s Cathedral in London tomorrow. But she will be with Harry for their visit to Nigeria later this week.”
