The clever trick certainly wowed social media users after a savvy shopper took to TikTok to reveal the idea. Posting as @The.ashton.home, an interior design blogger showcased an £8 table from B&M.
While the product is advertised as a plant table, the shopper found another use for the elegant white stand. The.ashton.home explained: “As soon as I saw it, I knew it would match my living room absolutely perfectly.
“Now, I know some of you might think this is a very small table for a side table, and yes, it is. I will probably only use this just to pop my drink down, like when I’m working from home or just chilling on the sofa. I can put my drink right next to me.
“Also, if I’m not using it for my drink, I can always use it just to put a little flower pot or something.” The finished look impressed viewers, who were quick to praise the idea. Many loved how well the table complimented the shopper’s neutral decor.
