B&M shoppers are in for a treat, with the discount retailer cutting the price of the scrub by 16 per cent

Another addition to consider for your skincare collection has emerged, with B&M cutting the price of a well-loved product to little more than £2. The budget retailer, which has been introducing numerous beauty bargains lately, has launched a 16 per cent reduction that might be hard to overlook.

The St Ives Fresh Skin Scrub typically sells for an already reasonable £2.98, but customers can now snap it up for merely £2.49. B&M states it boasts a delightful apricot scent, and with a 150ml tube, it delivers excellent value for money.

According to the product description, B&M claims: “Keep your face feeling and looking fresh by using St. Ives Fresh Skin Scrub. Deeply exfoliates to reveal smooth, radiant skin. Instantly reveals skin’s natural radiance.”

Customers have been singing the product’s praises too. One satisfied buyer on Superdrug left the following review: “Been using this face scrub for over 30 years. A good exfoliator that leaves your skin fresh & glowing whatever age. Have tried others but don’t come close to this one.”

Another added: “I have used this product every night for many years now and my mature skin always glows naturally. It’s also a totally natural product – whereas most exfoliates use tiny plastic particles, which get into our water system.”

However, not everyone is pleased with their experience with the item. “This used to be brilliant for a deep exfoliating effect and so I didn’t mind paying the extra money, but it doesn’t anymore,” they admitted.

“About a year ago I bought a new one & noticed it had changed, the cream base now feels thinner and greasy, and the ground walnut shell pieces are much smaller & finer meaning you don’t get the same deep cleanse and exfoliation.”

That said, you can form your own opinion without spending a fortune. For further details and to purchase the St Ives Fresh Skin Scrub, head over to the B&M website.

Do bear in mind, however, that home delivery is not an option. So, should you wish to get your hands on the product, in-store collection is your only option – check availability at your nearest branch using the online store finder.

This isn’t the only beauty bargain to land in major retailers recently. Revolution Skincare’s Clean Sheet Morning Cleanser, which ordinarily retails at £10 at Home Bargains, has had its 100ml tube slashed to just £1.99.

A Home Bargains spokesperson said: “Revolution Skincare’s Clean Sheet Morning Cleanser from the Simple family delivers a refreshing burst of hydration with hyaluronic acid and grape seed oil, while pineapple extract gently brightens and oat amino acids leave skin soft and smooth.

“This Clean Sheet Morning Cleanser provides the perfect hit of AM hydration to awaken the skin, or can be slotted in as a second cleanse in the evening. Featuring hyaluronic acid and glycerin: the ultimate hero hydrators.”

Shoppers can find out more on the Home Bargains website, although the product is listed as online-only, meaning in-store collection is unavailable.
