Amazon shoppers are raving about a spirit that they insist is ‘better than Baileys’ and it’s available in time for Christmas. Amarula Vegan Liqueur boasts being allergy friendly but it’s also said to be ‘indulgent, creamy, and utterly delicious’.
The spirit is usually £15 for a 70cl bottle, while Baileys is typically around £17, but has dropped down to £12 in the run up to Christmas. The creamy liqueur is coconut based rather than cream although it’s not said to be an overly strong coconut flavour.
The flavour is a ‘delicious’ blend of caramel, vanilla and coconut. Amarula Vegan Liqueur won four gold medals in 2023 at three competitions including The Spirits Business, World Liqueur Masters and San Francisco World Spirits Competition, Double Gold.

While it’s gluten and dairy free, it does still contain soy which a number of shoppers have complained about. One said: “This items contains soya which I am intolerant too. No where on the description does it say contains soya! Now I find I can’t send it back. I want my money back please!”
