If you want to save a little bit of money this Valentine’s Day, or just can’t face the busy crowds, these supermarket dine-in meal deals are the best way to enjoy good food for less

We all love a romantic date night; getting dressed up, enjoying a nice meal and spending some time together is always a treat. But when it comes to Valentine’s Day, the crowds and impossible-to-get table reservations can quickly put a damper on things.

If you’re planning on ditching the chaos and spending February 14 at home this year, you might want to consider swapping a takeaway for something that’ll save you money whilst still delivering a great meal – a supermarket meal deal. It might not sound as glamorous as dining out, but this year supermarkets have pulled out all the stops to offer some great options that’ll feel just as luxurious without breaking the bank.

To help you narrow down which dine-in meal deal is the one for you, we’ve rounded up some of our favourite ones being offered right now, with prices from £12.

Tesco

This Valentine’s Day, Tesco is offering shoppers the chance to snap up its Tesco Finest Valentine’s Dine In range for just £20 with a Clubcard. You can choose one starter, one main, two sides, one dessert and one drink for two, with more than 50% of the range new-in for 2026 for some new treats.

Starters include camembert with garlic and parsley dough balls, Coquilles St Jacques or the Tesco Finest Mediterranean style breaded prawns with hot honey dip. For the main, there are sharing meals like salmon and prawn en croûte or beef bourguignon pies that bring some decadence without the pricey table reservations, and the drinks options include prosecco, soft drinks, cocktails, beers and wines.

Starters include mac and cheese, fishcakes and prawns, whilst mains range from steak or salmon to vegetable wellington and goat cheese ravioli. The choice of sides offers creamed spinach, fries and potato dauphinoise, whilst desserts include sticky toffee pudding, profiteroles and tiramisu, with veggie and vegan options included in all courses.
