A whole host of fashionable brands have launched Black Friday 2024 sales early. Better still, even more are expected to follow suit as November 29 draws closer.

For instance, John Lewis is offering 20% off a range of womenswear products, including Barbour coats. There’s 20% off the popular black International Barron Puffer Jacket. It’s down from £199 to £159.20, and while it still sits at a high-end price point, it’s been rated as great value by shoppers.
A shopper who purchased the coat in November said: “Lovely coat, looks nice for a walk or shopping trip. Fits well and true to size. I’m currently wearing with a T-shirt as it’s so warm. So I know I’ll be nice and toasty in the winter!”
Someone else agreed: “Lovely jacket. Nice and stylish, light but very warm. The hood comes in useful when it rains. The rain just stays there on the surface of the material which is great. Overall, perfect winter coat.” To date, there are no negative reviews.
In good news for adventurers, the coat is machine washable at 30C and can go in the tumble dry at low temperature, but you must take care to use a cool iron. Additionally. it’s worth noting both the inner and outer coat are 100% Polyester, in case you would prefer to opt for a more breathable fabric.
Elsewhere, Nobody’s Child is offering 25% off everything with a Black Friday code available on the brand’s website. As such, shoppers can enjoy impressive savings on more expensive products, like the Oversized Red Check Double Breasted Wool Blend Coat.
Usually, you’d pay £249, but you save over £60 with the discount code, instead paying £186.75. It’s made from 70% Recycled Polyester and 30% Responsible Wool Standard Wool, but it is dry-clean only.
Or there’s the Black Quilted Bomber Jacket for £74.25 instead of £99 and the Khaki Crew Neck Quilted Puffer Jacket for the same price. Both are 100% recycled polyester; however, these coats are dry-clean only. Unfortunately, there are no on-site reviews for the products for anyone keen to find out more about the fit and feel of the Nobody’s Child coats.
