According to certain retailers, the countdown to Christmas is on with beauty advent calendar pre-orders and waitlists kicking off at Liberty London, Selfridges and more

Beauty advent calendar season has arrived – and far earlier than Christmas shoppers might expect. But for those devoted to getting their hands on the festive countdown they desire most, knowing as much about each holiday haul as possible is essential when it comes to making an informed decision.

Luxury retailer Liberty London has become the first major brand to not only open pre-orders, but to reveal the entire contents of this year’s festive offering. Several other retailers have also opened waitlists, teased 2026 launches and kickstarted pre-orders, but for the most part, brands are keeping their contents under wraps until closer to Christmas.

I’ve worked the beauty advent calendar circuit for four years now, from hunting down the best value and biggest savings, to unboxing the most coveted collections. And with each passing year, they seem to get bigger and better, with 2026 being no exception.

I’ve taken a look at which stores are already prepping shoppers for yuletide treats, from luxury department stores to cult beauty retailers. Here’s every beauty advent calendar shoppers can already sign up for ahead of the festive season.

Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar 2026

As always, Liberty has set the bar exceptionally high. The 2026 calendar boasts its highest-ever value at more than £1,300 and features an impressive line-up of luxury brands including Jones Road, ILIA, Augustinus Bader, Sunday Riley and more.

The coveted calendar has developed something of a cult following over the last decade, selling out for 11 consecutive years, and beauty fans can already lock in and secure this year’s edition with their pre-order option.

Inside shoppers will find 29 beauty treats, of which 21 are full-sized, promising to be one of the highest proportions of full-size products on the market. But at £285 it’s one of the most expensive beauty advent calendars available, making it a significant upfront investment.

Though for anyone who loves premium skincare and makeup, it’s expected to be a great way to invest in some seriously high-end formulas for a lot less than usual, with each averaging out at less than £10.

Selfridges Beauty Advent Calendar 2026

Selfridges has confirmed its beauty advent calendar is returning, teasing that ‘2026 called for something more’, although details remain firmly under wraps. Last year’s calendar retailed for £250 and featured an impressive selection of luxury skincare, fragrance and makeup brands worth £1,136. This year’s offering is also £250 placing it firmly in the luxury category, but whether it will boast a higher value than 2025 remains to be seen.

Joining Selfridges Unlocked (effectively, the retailer’s mailing list) is likely worthwhile, as customers will be notified of any updates before the general public. Selfridges calendars have become increasingly popular and often sell out quickly, so it’s good to be among the first to know in order to decide if it’s the right countdown to buy.

LookFantastic Beauty Advent Calendar 2026

Last year, LookFantastic celebrated their 10th anniversary calendar with a £105 calendar worth over £655. It featured 28 products, 17 of which were full size. As such, it could be difficult for the brand to level up again this year, but we remain hopeful as they rarely disappoint.

The retailer’s calendar has become one of the UK’s most iconic beauty advent success stories thanks to its accessible price point, while starring big name brands like Elemis and Medik8. Lookfantastic has already opened its waitlist for 2026, promising 25 days of iconic beauty and early access for subscribers. Expect a mix of skincare, haircare, makeup and body care from bestselling brands stocked by the retailer.

P.Louise What Glows Around Beauty Advent Calendar 2026

Arguably the most coveted among teen and tween beauty lovers, P.Louise has launched pre-orders for its 2026 calendar, featuring 25 products including brand-new formulas, exclusive launches and never-before-seen products.

What sets this apart from some of the other options is the fact that every single item inside is full-sized, so no ‘filler’ minis or samples. At £250, it’s another expensive option, and because it’s centred entirely around one brand, it lacks the variety offered by multi-brand calendars. But for loyal P.Louise enthusiasts, it’s a no-brainer which countdown will take their fancy this year.

Harrods Beauty Advent Calendar 2026

Harrods has confirmed that its beauty advent calendar will return, although the retailer is remaining tight-lipped about the details. The department store’s calendars are known for featuring some of the world’s most luxurious skincare, fragrance and beauty brands, with previous editions regularly selling out.

If previous years are anything to go by, shoppers can expect another premium selection worth well over £1,000 and priced around £250, in line with the likes of Selfridges and Harvey Nics. The brand also typically reduces a smaller 12-day calendar dedicated to fragrance.

Neal’s Yard Remedies 45th Anniversary Advent Calendar

For those who want a calendar that will help them unwind, Neal’s Yard has opened pre-orders for its limited-edition 45th Anniversary Advent Calendar. It features 24 doors packed with skincare and wellbeing products.

The calendar focuses on natural beauty and aromatherapy, making it a strong option for fans of botanical skincare rather than makeup-heavy collections. Priced at £195, orders placed now are expected to arrive by the end of October. However, the overall value and contents are yet to be revealed, so some may prefer to wait until they have all of the information before purchasing.

Harvey Nichols Beauty Advent Calendar 2026

Harvey Nichols has confirmed both its Beauty Advent Calendar and Fragrance Advent Calendar will return for 2026, although release dates and contents haven’t yet been announced.

Previous editions have showcased luxury beauty brands alongside a dedicated fragrance calendar for perfume enthusiasts, so expectations are high once again. But with so little information available, shoppers will have to wait before deciding whether it offers good value compared with competitors.

Avant Odyssey Advent Calendar 2026

And last but by no means least, Avant has confirmed its Odyssey Advent Calendar is returning after selling out for four consecutive years. The calendar will include 25 skincare products and is aimed at those who enjoy luxury skincare routines packed with serums, moisturisers and treatments. But as it’s exclusively skincare, it may not appeal to those seeking a little more variety.

Although several brands have entered the race early, Liberty has undoubtedly stolen the spotlight by becoming the first major retailer to fully unveil its calendar and open pre-orders. However, shoppers looking for the best value may still want to hold out for the likes of Boots, Glossybox and Space NK.

With more retailers expected to announce their calendars over the coming weeks, beauty advent calendar season seems to be underway. We’ll be updating this article with all of the latest options as they launch.
