CeraVe is a long-time favourite skincare brand amongst beauty editors, TikTokers and shoppers alike, and its latest product has launched to much hype. Here’s the best place to buy it
If there’s one skincare care that you can guarantee that all – or at least, almost all – beauty editors use, love and regularly recommend, it’s CeraVe. Perhaps most famous for its cleansers, it’s also a relatively affordable favourite with dermatologists, who love how gentle yet effective its products are.
So whenever CeraVe launches something new, the industry sits up and takes note. And that’s certainly been the case with its newest innovation, which has got lots of beauty editor keen to try it out.
CeraVe Skin Renewing Vitamin C Serum is already the number one vitamin C product in the US, and now it has just arrived onto beauty shelves here in the UK too. Combining 10% L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C) plus hyaluronic acid and the brand’s famous ceramide complex, it claims to target fine lines, texture and dullness without blocking pores or causing irritation.
With an RRP of £29, it’s currently on sale for the low price of £11.45 on Amazon. It looks like stocks are currently running low on the shopping site though, so if it’s no longer available on Amazon, the next cheapest place to buy it is from Boots, where it’s currently £23.20.
It’s here where you’ll find plenty of five-star reviews of this vitamin C serum too, with happy shoppers reporting results in just days.
“I am using CeraVe Skin Renewing Vitamin C Serum for one week and my skin feels soft and more bright,” wrote one.
“I really liked this serum, it felt lovely on the skin and visibly brighten my complexion!” another raved. “It is very lightweight and sinks into the skin almost instantly! Would highly recommend.”
A third agreed with the brightening effect, writing, “Thanks to this Skin Renewing formula my skin is now visibly brighter. It helped with my dark spots and improved my skin texture. It does not clog pores and is gentle for the skin” – although some felt that longer was needed before seeing any results.
At this reduced price it’s also cheaper than most other beauty editor-favourite vitamin C serums such as SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic Vitamin C Serum, £165, and Medik8 C-Tetra Lipid Vitamin C Serum, £39.
