Dearest Readers, happy Bridgerton Season 4 day to all who celebrate. The time has finally arrived to see our beloved Benedict Bridgerton, who’s previously been seen as a bit of a bohemian bachelor, the series’ main focus, during which he entwines himself in a swoon-worthy romance.

Merging the romance, intrigue and drama of the latest Bridgerton series with olfactory wonder, Floral Street’s limited edition Enchanted Masquerade is a first-of-its-kind vegan and cruelty-free fragrance, whose muse is ‘the first intriguing, scent-trailed encounter and—spoiler alert—ensuing love affair that blossoms between Benedict Bridgerton and Sophie Baek at a masquerade ball.’
Touted as being ‘romantic, spellbinding, elegant and spectacular’ the £78 (50ml) fragrance has fruity, sweet and floral notes thanks to its fresh pear, hazelnut and gardenia scents, amongst musk, vanilla, mandarin, rose and more.

The new limited edition Enchanted Masquerade Eau de Parfum for Bridgerton from Floral Street is said to ‘capture the essence of a magical evening full of unexpected joy and allure’.

For something a little more ‘ambery’, the Marc Jacobs Perfect Absolute for Women is a lovely option that is currently on sale at Boots for £60.80 down from £76. It’s main notes feature caramelised fig accord, jasmine absolu and rich amber accord.
Elsewhere, Kayali’s £73 Déjà Vu White Flower 57 Eau de Parfum is hailed as a ‘comforting scent that is reminiscent of falling in love’, mixing sandalwood with fruity notes of white nectarine and orange flower.
While the Floral Street scent inside the bottle is beautiful, its glass casing is equally as captivating as it comes decorated in purple flowers – a signature look for the brand’s perfume bottles.
The new Enchanted Masquerade Eau de Parfum has certainly been well received with a glowing 4.9 average star rating, with one user raving: “Enchanted Masquerade is one of those scents that starts off super juicy and pretty, then gets a little bit deeper as it wears. I get a lot of peach and mandarin at first, then it turns soft and floral with a slightly spicy, grown-up edge that makes it feel really luxe.
“It’s feminine but not too sweet, and honestly feels like a perfect evening fragrance when you want something elegant but still fun. The scent stays on my skin for hours and I have had so many compliments. It’s a beautifully wearable fragrance, especially for those romantic evenings. I like that it feels playful yet sophisticated at the same time”

Although the fragrance does have a number of four star reviews, they’re not overwhelmingly negative, with the only drawback from one shopper being that is feels more of an evening scent – “I would definitely say this is more of an evening scent for me. It has a romantic, vintage feel but I do like how this is offset by the lighter citrus side after a while. It’s definitely evocative of the Bridgerton vibe!”
