Whiskey lovers have been racing to snap up ‘beautiful tasting’ Jameson whiskey as Amazon drops the giant 1.5 litre bottle from £53 to under £40 – cheaper than Tesco and Waitrose

Whiskey lovers rejoice, because now is the perfect time to get your hands on a giant 1.5 litre bottle for less thanks to Amazon. The online retailer has just slashed the price of a 150cl bottle of Jameson Triple Distilled Blended Irish Whiskey down from its usual price of £53.20 to £39.99, working out at around £26 per litre.

The price cut means the whiskey is currently cheaper than Waitrose, where it’s £35 per litre, and Tesco, where it’s currently available for £34 per litre. The offer is only available for a limited time, so you’ll need to be quick if you want to get your hands on the huge bottle before the deal ends.
