As someone who adores beauty products and lives for festive surprises, I couldn’t resist getting my hands on the ASOS Face & Body 25-Day Advent Calendar for 2024. Priced at £95 with an impressive £403 worth of beauty goodies inside, it promised to be one of the best high-street advent calendars this year – and trust me, it did not disappoint.
Let’s start with the packaging. ASOS knows how to bring the holiday sparkle. The calendar is wrapped in fun, metallic packaging that feels festive yet chic, and adds to the excitement of opening a new door each morning.
Inside, there are 26 products (one extra for a little holiday bonus) with 12 of them being full-size. Yup, you read that right -12 full-size products, which is a steal considering the price.

The standout brands in this calendar are what really had me buzzing. It features cult favourites like Charlotte Tilbury, Sol de Janeiro, and MAC, as well as luxury skincare brands like Elemis, Ren, and Sunday Riley. You even get goodies from Beauty Works and Philip Kingsley, meaning this isn’t just about makeup – it’s got a fabulous mix of skincare, haircare, and bath essentials. Whether you’re a skincare enthusiast or a beauty newbie, there’s something in here for everyone.
My personal favourites? Day 5’s Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream – a total skin-smoothing dream and an iconic product that smells like a tropical vacation. The only downside is that you don’t get much product inside the tiny tub, and seeing as I’ve been applying it every day since getting the calendar, it’s sadly run out already – but at least you get the oil too!
Charlotte Tilbury’s full-size Beauty Light Wand is another winner, offering that perfect festive glow that will carry you through every holiday party. And let’s not forget the Elemis Superfood Midnight Facial Night Cream, a holy-grail sleeping cream that gives my skin a glow boost every time I use it.
One thing I really appreciated was how well-rounded the selection is. You’re not just getting the usual sample-sized items – ASOS has really packed in the value with a generous amount of full-sized products that you’ll actually want to use (and repurchase). From face masks to hair treatments, everything feels premium. It’s perfect for building up your beauty drawer or discovering new favourites without breaking the bank.
At under £100, the ASOS advent calendar strikes an incredible balance of luxury and affordability. Whether you’re treating yourself or gifting it to the beauty lover in your life, this is hands down one of the best deals on the market.
Now, if you’re still shopping around, two other calendars caught my eye this year. The Glossybox 2024 Advent Calendar, at £85 but worth over £585, is another incredible beauty bargain. It’s packed with skincare, makeup, and wellness products that’ll have you glowing all season long.
For those wanting to splurge, the Liberty London Beauty Advent Calendar is the ultimate indulgence. Priced at £260 with a value of £1,205, it’s filled with ultra-luxe brands like Hourglass, Diptyque, and Le Labo. Perfect for anyone looking to spoil themselves silly.
But for me? The ASOS calendar ticks all the boxes – a festive treat with fantastic value, amazing brands, and products that’ll keep me glowing well into the new year.
