The ‘comfortable’ pyjamas that can match your name are currently half price – and look ‘more expensive than they seem’
George at Asda shoppers have been raving about a set of ‘cosy’ pyjamas that are now half-price and feature a personalised touch. The supermarket’s Black Letter pyjamas, made of soft satin are reduced from £18 to £9.
The long-sleeved set has a simple black-and-white contrast. Each chest has an initial of almost every letter of the alphabet embroidered. Made from soft fabric and with an elasticated waist, these pyjamas offer the ‘ultimate comfort’ in a fashionable way.
Bargain hunters spotted the discount on Facebook and have since flocked to find a set matching their name. Online, they range from sizes four to 22, but some are sold out, so it’s best to check on the Asda website or try your luck in stores.
In there reviews, one said: “I love how soft these are! They’re quite fitted, so go with your size! I love the personalisation.” Another added: “I bought these pyjamas as they have initial on them and look smart, they came and are lovely on.”
A third wrote: “Lovely PJs and they look much more expensive than they seem.” Someone else commented: “The trim and embroidery is a nice champagne colour, the trim and bow on the trousers is satin so it looks good quality, and the jersey has plenty of stretch.”
A fifth person left a review which read: “Bought for a gift bit I loved them so much that I ordered some for myself. Super soft material, so comfy and quite generous in size too!”
Some complained that the fits seemed a little untrue in size. One shopper said they ‘do feel a little larger than they’re labelled’.
There are 21 lettered-sets online, meaning five are not available – and it’s unclear if these are available in stores or not. The missing letters are Q, U, W, X and Y.
Asda offers a free click-and-collect service in most of its stores across the UK. These orders typically operate on a next day service, however, some collection locations may differ.
