Noomi Rapace and Jonathan Banks star in Apple’s genre-bending new series that centres around a ‘catastrophe in space’ and ‘madness on Earth’
Apple TV+ has unveiled the official trailer for a brand-new genre-bending series that looks set to be the streamer’s next must-watch blockbuster. Launching later this year, Constellation is a psychological thriller that combines elements of sci-fi, mystery and drama and has fans saying it gives “Twilight Zone vibes.”
Billed as a “conspiracy-based space adventure,” it follows an astronaut who returns to Earth after a disaster in space and discovers that key pieces of her life seem to be missing.
“People see things up there, and when they get back they go crazy,” one woman says in the trailer.

Apple has said Constellation is an exploration of the dark edges of human psychology and one woman’s desperate quest to expose the truth about the hidden history of space travel and recover all she has lost. It stars Prometheus’ Noomi Rapace as astronaut Jo and Emmy-nominated Breaking Bad star Jonathan Banks.
The eight-part series is created by Peter Harness, writer of BBC’s The War of the Worlds and several episodes of Doctor Who during Peter Capaldi’s tenure. It also boasts Emmy-winner Michelle MacLaren as director of its opening two episodes, whose credits include The X-Files, Breaking Bad, The Morning Show and Game of Thrones.
Constellation will make its global debut on Wednesday, February 21, with a three-episode drop. It will be available to stream exclusively on Apple TV+, which TV lovers can join for £8.99 a month.

Apple TV+ unveiled the intense official trailer for Constellation in January, giving fans a glimpse at what promises to be a haunting journey into space and the human psyche. Among fiery explosions and ominous dialogue, the footage sees Jo in a battle with reality as she suffers from what appear to be creepy hallucinations.
