Apple fans can get up to £20 off their replacement earphones right now.
Apple fans and users looking for a music upgrade are in time for a rare price drop on the brand’s newest AirPods. As the AirPods 4 plummet in price.
High street store Argos currently has the fourth generation pair sale for £99. The AirPods were originally priced at £119, marking a £20 saving, and it beats Apple’s own price.
Not only does the price beat Apple, but it’s also the lowest price the earbuds have sold for, according to price-tracking website CamelCamelCamel.

As a result, this price-matched set of Apple AirPods 4th Generation is the cheapest chance Apple users have to replace their older products right now. And thankfully, reviews claim they are some of the most capable AirPods yet.
With more than 19,000 reviews on Amazon, the AirPods have become one of Apple’s most popular products. “Bottom line – if you’re upgrading from first-generation AirPods and care most about reliable calls, battery life, and everyday usability, the standard AirPods 4 are the best value option”, said one shopper.
Apple AirPods £99 at Argos now
Apple AirPods 4th Gen are out now from Argos at lowest price yet.
Likewise, another five-star review stated: “They feel like the earbuds Apple has been trying to perfect for years. They slip in easily and stay comfortable for long listening sessions without feeling like tiny pegs hammering into my ears.
“The overall sound is pleasantly full with a decent, warm bass that makes music and podcasts sound lively rather than thin. The active noise cancellation is surprisingly good for open-fit buds, and it knocks out street rumble and background chatter.
“Pairing with my iPhone was instant every time, and switching between my phone and laptop just works without fiddling.”
With that said, some reviews had criticisms: “Very good headphones, but the noise cancellation isn’t great, might as well save some money and go for the ones without it, as there’s not much difference.”
Carly concurred: “They don’t stay in your ear as easily as the AirPod 2nd generation. Too easy to pause and mute yourself because you have to keep adjusting them to be able to hear and make them slightly comfortable. I wish I didn’t bother.”
With that said, there are many cheaper alternatives from lesser-known brands available now. Skull Candy has true earbuds on sale for around £ 40 each. Likewise, they have other offerings on sale at £30, £70 and £130 each. All of which can be found on their sales page here. Alternatively, the Apple AirPods Fourth Generation are available from Argos for just £99 now.
