Antler’s mid-season sale has kicked off, and the brand has reduced the price of its EasyJet-approved underseat cabin suitcase that’s perfect for weekend trips

With many airlines now only offering a small handbag or backpack option instead of a free cabin bag, it can be a real challenge to travel on a budget with all your essentials. Luckily, Antler’s Soft Stripe Underseat Cabin Bag has been designed to fit perfectly underneath your plane seat, and it’s currently in the brand’s mid-season sale for £104, down from £130.

The case measures 35 x 45 x 20 cm, fitting the requirements of airlines such as British Airways, EasyJet and Virgin Atlantic, making it the ideal piece for frequent travellers, long weekends or overnight stays.

The case features a double-layered pocket, providing instant access to electronics and essential documents like boarding passes or passports – a lifesaver when navigating airport security. The soft exterior, as opposed to a hard shell, is a plus when using a smaller case, as you can fit that little bit more into it.

The case’s lightweight design is a definite bonus, as it fits under your seat but can also be stowed in the overhead locker for extra legroom. And there’s nothing worse than struggling to lift your bags and consequently holding up the whole plane or having to call over a flight attendant.

Available in indigo blue, forest green and black, the case pairs perfectly with the other Soft Stripe suitcases, also on sale. The Lightest Cabin Suitcase is now £136, the Lightest Medium Suitcase is now £168, and the Lightest Large Suitcase is now £192.

If, however, you are looking for a slightly more affordable alternative, Tripp’s hard shell underseat cabin case is available for £42 here. The dimensions of this bag would also fit EasyJet and British Airways planes.

Unfortunately, the Ryanair luggage allowance is slightly smaller than some other airlines so if you’re in the market for luggage to fit their free hand luggage requirements, a backpack like this one from Amazon, £25.99 here, would probably be the best option.
