The discounted soundbar offers a surround sound experience and also connects to phones and tablets

If the sound of your television isn’t blowing your socks off, you may want to consider investing in a soundbar to give you a better experience while watching your favourite programmes and films. The Amazon Fire TV Soundbar could be the answer, with the ‘compact’ yet ‘bold’ device enhancing your television’s audio.

The online giant is currently offering the soundbar with a 17% discount, bringing its price down from £119.99 to £99.99. The gadget, which comes with a small remote control, offers a three-dimensional surround sound experience thanks to its dual speakers that provide fuller sound, clearer dialogue, and deeper bass.

Amazon says the soundbar is easy to set up with it simply plugging in to the HDMI port on your TV. With a length of just over 60cm, the device sits neatly on TV stands and can also connect to your phone or tablet via Bluetooth, allowing you to fill the room with your favourite music.

The soundbar is an Amazon’s Choice product and one happy buyer who rated it five stars said: “Super good quality speaker. Easy to use and great bass… A great bang for your buck speaker.”

A second wrote: “The setup is an absolute breeze. Don’t be put off by its size, it can pack quite a punch. The bass is deep and rich, and speech is clear and crisp. I cannot fault this soundbar and I highly recommend it, especially at this price.”

“The sound quality is remarkable for a £100 sound bar,” added another satisfied customer. “As soon as I started to set it up, the TV found it. Crazy really because I bought a very expensive soundbar before this one and to date I still can’t get it to work. If you are in the market for a soundbar, you won’t go far wrong with this one.”

Someone else commented: “I’ve paired this with my Fire TV and there isn’t much to say beyond the fact that I’m impressed with it. It’s super easy to set-up and is just a case of plugging it into the wall and the TV. The build quality feels nice and it looks good. Sound is great with a good amount of bass.”

One shopper, however, did note a small downside, as they explained: “The soundbar goes into standby mode quicker than my TV, so I sometimes have to get the soundbar remote to switch it back on again.” Another added: “No issues with the sound, easy to setup, but the volume keeps flashing on and off the screen. Seen someone else mention this, will have to return.”

If you’d like to add the Amazon Fire TV Soundbar to your television set up, you can purchase it from Amazon here for £99 for a limited time.
