It comes in an impressive 17 different shades, meaning there’s something for everyone’s personal tastes. It’s easy to use, you simply apply the masque and let it sit for 10 to 30 seconds before wiping off with something damp.
The result is a natural looking lip stain that won’t budge all day – even if you’re eating and drinking. It includes a number of ingredients, such as squalane, to keep lips hydrated while they stain although many shoppers follow it up with lip balm.

It’s brought in almost 10,000 five-star reviews on Amazon where it’s priced at £18. One shopper said: “I am obsessed with this stuff. Easy to apply, lasts 9-5 (although sometimes I choose to top it up after lunch), love the colour and doesn’t make my lips look like they’re bleeding by sinking into creases. As long as you scrub your lips before or the night before its utter perfection. I don’t use every day however as it is a little drying.”
A second wrote: “I put this on at 6am, and it lasted until 5-6pm, without any more applications. The best lip stain I’ve used yet. I got it in the shade ‘adore’.”

“I have never tried with the applicator spray, just the lip stain itself, leave it for 2min and get a beautiful shade that lasts me on average 6h. It doesn’t dry my lips but it all doesn’t hydrate them so I then apply a regular Vaseline based lip balm that hydrates my lips and gives them a shiny appearance.”
Not everyone is such a fan though, one shopper said: “I really liked this product. And was very pleased with the colour and texture and it looks very natural, also very easy to apply. Unfortunately it does not last as advertised 10 hours. The most would be 2 hours and then you would have to reapply. This is disappointing as that’s what I really wanted was long lasting colour.”
There are other lip stains on the market, and NYX recently released a hydrating gloss stain that works both as a gloss and a stain at the same time. It’s £9.99 on Boots at the minute. Rihanna’s brand Fenty have also got a lipstain, Poutsicle, but it’s not as popular as Wonderskin’s viral product.
