Lefant’s robot vacuum series is up to half price for one week only
Amazon has slashed up to 50% off a series of robot vacuum cleaners in its Black Friday sale. Each device comes from Lefant, which is offering discounts of £200 on select models in this year’s huge sale event.
We’ve taken a look at the brand’s Black Friday offering and hand-picked some of our favourite models, one of which is now half price. Each device serves as both a vacuum cleaner and a mop, so they can clean both carpets and hard floors, with other standout features including anti-hair wrap and multi-floor mapping.
Lefant’s latest deals are live now as part of Amazon’s Black Friday sale, but they’re due to expire on Cyber Monday, December 1. They rival popular brands like Shark and Dyson and which have already kicked off their Black Friday sales too.
With that, here are three of our favourite Lefant robot vacuums.
Lefant M3 – £294 (was £346.53)
The Lefant M3 Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum Cleaner with Mop delivers the strongest suction of the models’ features here, with 12,000Pa, so it can easily remove pet hair, dust and debris from both carpets and hard floors in a single pass. It also boasts an anti-tangle roller brush to prevent hair wrap, so it’s an ideal device for homes with pets.
The M3 can mop hard floors too, with a cleaning solution that uses 45 °C hot water for deep cleaning that automatically refills before drying with cool air. Its powerful battery enables it to run for 220 minutes continuously, with any collected dirt going straight into the charging station’s 3.2L bag, which Lefant says needs replacing once every eight weeks.
The robot vacuum uses laser navigation to map the home, with its wide-angle detector ensuring it avoids bumping into obstacles even if it’s dark. It can also be controlled hands-free with Alexa and Google voice control
The Lefant M3 has achieved a 4.2-star rating after almost 5,000 reviews from Amazon customers, with one saying: “A little gem of a device, excellent value for money and works reliably without fault. Picks up a lot on every trip, which we cannot do without for daily cleaning duties.”
Another said: “Good piece of kit, easy to get going. Works well and mops adequately.” However, the same buyer added: “Only downside is no user manual to fine-tune the system. Once this can be downloaded, I will be very happy.”
The Lefant M3 is one of the more pricey models in Amazon’s sale but comes in far cheaper than Dyson’s 360 Vis Nav at £649 (was £1,199.99). However, this is said to be Dyson’s ‘most powerful’ robot vacuum.
Lefant M2 Plus – £199.99 (was £399.99)
The biggest discount is on the Lefant M2 Plus Robot Vacuum and Mop, which is now 50% off. This model is ideal for cleaning both carpet and hard floors as it boasts 6,000Pa suction and a 300ml water tank, with the device adapting to different floor types and dirt levels.
It uses LiDAR navigation to map each room with ‘millimetre-level accuracy’, with a 15m scanning range ensuring it avoids colliding with pets, furniture and other obstacles day or night. There’s no need to worry about a soggy carpet with the robot vacuum, as it features advanced carpet detection, so it avoids carpets when the mop holder is attached.
If the mop holder is removed, the device automatically boosts its suction for a deeper and more efficient clean. It can run for up to 140 minutes continuously but will return to its base station when needing to recharge and empty its 2.5L dust bag, which is said to hold 45 days’ worth of dust, pet hair and debris.
Amazon customers have awarded the Lefant M2 Plus a 4.3-star rating from more than 6,000 reviews, with one buyer saying: “What an amazing piece of kit. My wife thought it would be a gimmick but it’s so good at cleaning the corners of our rugs and hard floor. As the main person who normally does the hoovering, it saves me so much time.”
Another said: “Couldn’t be happier with this little guy, I’m really impressed. Has a great capacity and picks up fluff and cat hair even when I thought my floors were clean. Takes himself back to his charger when ready.”
One user praised it as a ‘handy tool’ but said it can be ‘a little noisy’. It comes as Hoover unveils a rival deal at a similar price as its HG4 Hydro Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop falls from £299 to £199, but this model has weaker suction and no self-emptying feature.
Lefant M2 Pro – £219.99 (was £349.99)
Amazon shoppers can save £130 on the Lefant M2 Pro Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum Cleaner with Mop – a 37% drop. This model features an improved 6,000Pa suction power, significantly improving cleaning efficiency compared to previous models.
This is said to ‘effortlessly’ remove dust, debris and pet hair from hard floors, carpets or crevices, with its suction increasing when it detects carpet. Its two-in-one design means it can also mop hard floors to remove stains, with its intelligent 300ml water tank controlling the water flow to suit different needs.
It uses LiDAR navigation to map up to three floors, with Lefant claiming it navigates large homes and complex layouts with ease. It can also plan its own cleaning routes to avoid missed spots or repeated cleaning while avoiding obstacles as close as 4cm away.
The Lefant M2 Pro can hold 60 days’ worth of dirt in its 2.5L bagless dustbin, but it can be used with bags if preferred. This is the same capacity as the Shark PowerDetect Self-Empty Robot Vacuum, which comes in at a pricier £299.99 (was £499.99).
The Lefant M2 Pro boasts a 4.4-star Amazon rating after more than 600 reviews, with one saying: “Worth every penny, couldn’t live without it. This is so easy to set up, the app is very clear. The machine is quiet and does a great job of picking everything up from hard floors to carpets – and it doesn’t break the bank.”
Another said: “Excellent value for money, easy to install and use, quite powerful for the price. It picked up all my dog’s hair and dust). Overall a good product with a competitive price.”
However, one buyer said it ‘barely wets the floor’ during mopping and sometimes requires a second clean.
