Amazon knocks £45 of Shark’s ‘best fan’ that shoppers love in warm weather

Amazon has knocked 35% off the ‘best’ fan and it has an additional mist feature. The Shark FlexBreeze HydroGo Cordless Fan would usually cost £129.99 but has dropped down to £84.99.

The fan incorporates mist and, due to being cordless, it can be used inside and outside. It uses Shark’s HydroGo Evaporating Cooling which dispenses ultra-fine water droplets for additional cooling.

It’s built with outdoor durability in mind, with both rain and UV resistance, while still managing to be quiet indoors so as to not disturb sleep. There are five speed settings and the lowest speed setting gives up to 12 hours of runtime.

For those wanting a bigger fan and a bigger water tank, the Dreo Evaporative Air Cooler is a great option. It is a lot more expensive though, costing £189.99.

However, anyone working with a lower budget might take a look at the HOMCOM Oscillation Spray Misting Pedestal Fan 47 inch which is available for £52 at Wilko, where it’s been reduced from £62.

The Shark FlexBreeze HydroGo Cordless Fan has pulled in an average of 4.6 out of 5 from across 707 global ratings. One shopper said: “This has got to be one of the best fans on the internet: stylish, right size, very quiet. Roll on those hot summer nights. This is the fan you need 10/10.”

Another shopper praised it for how quiet it is. They said: “This is the best fan I’ve had! It’s very quiet – it has different speeds and there is a ‘mist’ element if you need it! I could have this on in the bedroom and as it is so quiet it didn’t disturb me. It’s great value for money and also the colour is really nice (I have the green one). It’s flexible too as it moves around wherever you need it!”

The normal Shark Ninja quality is definitely visible here as the whole unit feels well built and works exactly as you expect. It has some great lights on the front to show you exactly what mode you are in and has a water container on the top which allows it to mist either continuously or at intervals.

“I’ve knocked one star off as normally Shark items are fully tested but this one seems to have a whistling noise when at low fan speed caused by the tube shape at the front of the fan which can be quite annoying if you were trying to sleep. I also feel that at this price point it should have at least a timer function to switch off after a set length of time if you’re using it for camping or on the bedside and possibly a remote control.”
