No evidence drone strike is to blame
A drone strike in the United Arab Emirates that hit two of Amazon’s data centers on Monday, with some online accounts linking this to the current outage, but there is no evidence to substantiate those claims.
The drone strike did cause outages for products using AWS services in the Middle East, but no outages linked to Amazon’s website or app were reported, CNBC reported.
