If you love filling your home with plants but you’re quite not a green-fingered pro, Aldi might have just the thing for you

Aldi’s new plant range could be just the thing for shoppers who keep accidentally killing their plants. Whether you tend to overwater your greenery or forget to water your plants until they’re well beyond hope, it could be time to go back to basics.

Thankfully, Aldi’s latest Specialbuys include a selection of Easy Care Plants, perfect for shoppers who don’t want something that takes lots of care. The plants arrive in stores on Sunday (February 9).

They’re reasonably priced at £3.49 each, which is good to know if everything goes wrong and you need to start your collection from scratch. Hopefully, there will be no need to rush back to Aldi.

The plants on offer include Drac Compacta, Drac Lemon Lime, Fatsia Japonica, and Curio Mt Eve. These low-maintenance plants will improve the look of your home without taking up much of your time.

Aldi also sells jasmine, another easy-to-care-for plant, in pink, red, and white options for £6.99. Alternatively, if you’re looking for a plant guaranteed to last, Aldi sells a Faux Plant in a Bobble Pot for £3.99 – shoppers can choose between a cream, grey, or green pot.

Or, if you prefer flowers, the supermarket chain has also introduced £2.99 Blocks in Bloom ahead of Valentine’s Day. The sets are proving popular with Lego fans, and they might be well worth a look if you’d love a bright bouquet you can keep forever.

Shoppers can choose from Blue Clover, Zinnia, Jasmine, Lavender, Orchid, Oriental Paperbrush, Peony, Tulip, Pink Rose, or Red Rose. While you might prefer to stick to one set, the sets look beautiful when placed together in a vase.

Once more, the £2.99 sets are Specialbuys, meaning that once they’re gone, they’re gone. As such, shoppers will need to be quick if they’ve got their eye on a particular product.
