Christmas is typically a time for overindulgence, but if you’re looking for an easy way to stay on top of your health this winter, all-in-one green vitamin drink AG1 is a popular choice amongst celebrities, sportspeople and health professionals alike. Usually quite a pricey buy, if you’re interested in trying it then now’s the time to shop, as the brand has just dropped its best offers of the year.

AG1 – which counts Gwyneth Paltrow, Lewis Hamilton and Victoria Beckham as fans – has started its Black Friday sale early by offering money off its subscriptions plus a bundle of freebies that will save you over 50%.

The most popular option is to sign up for a single subscription of a 30-day supply of a pouch of AG1 powder, currently reduced from £97 to £79, and which works out at around £2.63 per day.

From now until 2 December, however, you’ll also get a special Black Friday bundle for free, consisting of a shaker, bottle of vitamin D3+K2 drops, AG1 gym bag and canister. Altogether with the product this would normally be worth £162, so you’re saving 51% by getting it for £79 this November.

Another option – and one to consider if you travel a lot – is the Black Friday deal on AG1 travel packs instead of a pouch; with the saving on the product itself plus the bundle of free extras, you’re getting it all for £89 instead of £172 – a saving of 48%.

A multivitamin in powder form made up of over 70 different ingredients, AG1 is recommended to be drunk first thing in the morning and claims to support the body in a number of ways, from reducing tiredness to improving skin, hair and nail health. I’ve taken this in the past and really noticed the benefits – you can read my full review here – but the iconic formula has recently been reformulated to be better than ever.

To compete with rival products such as IM8 – David Beckham’s (and probably also now Victoria’s) vitamin drink brand – AG1’s new formula now includes five new clinically studied bacterial strains and is shown to increase friendly bacteria in the gut by times 10. Additionally, it also now includes more magnesium, in a tasteless form of that is easy on the gut and well absorbed.

Of course, AG1 is still quite expensive. However, IM8 – which I’ve also tried – is even more expensive, at £89 a month. A slightly cheaper alternative that could be worth trying instead is Huel Daily Greens, which costs £45 per month or £50 for a one-off purchase.
