The stylish slingback shoes are ‘very comfortable’ according to impressed shoppers who love the look and feel of the heels
M&S shoppers love the brand’s new glitzy kitten heels, many say feel ‘very comfortable’ and look ‘absolutely gorgeous’. The £39.99 Sparkle Kitten Heel Slingback Shoes are the ‘heels of the season’ say fans, with glowing reviews rushing in for the trending style featured in the shop’s festive TV ad.
Available in black, dark red or opaline, the mid-height heels are covered in sparkles, meaning they’ll look brilliant under any disco ball as you dance the night away this Christmas. Shoppers are convinced they’ll look add to any festive party outfit, suggesting the shoes are ‘perfect’ for December and New Year’s Eve.
Praising the viral shoes on TikTok, one fan wrote: “Girls RUN don’t walk before these fly off the shelves!! Perfect for Christmas/New Year.” “These are GORGEOUS,” a viewer replied, and a second echoed: “Omg gimme gimme.”

In another post shared by an M&S store, @Mandswolstanton wrote: “The heels of the season. The sparkle. The COLOUR !!! Its a must have payday treat.” Elsewhere, on the M&S website, reviewers were equally enamoured by the dazzling shoes.
Someone wrote: “An absolute winner. Fabulous nude sparkly kitten heels, I’m a size 6 and these fit perfectly, are comfortable, accommodating my wider feet. I will definitely feel sophisticated and classy wearing these! I’m going to buy the black pair too (and the red when they come back into stock!)”
A different shopper shared: “On first look they appeared to be narrow but having worn them they were very comfortable and looked great.” Another added: “I bought these shoes to go with a burgundy top for a Christmas night out.
“They are absolutely gorgeous! The sparkles are subtle but shimmery and so pretty. They are true to size and seem comfy – just love them!”
Someone else replied: “The photos do not do these justice. They are gorgeous. I normally fit size 6, but found the size 7 most comfortable. They look great on and are a beautiful colour with tasteful sparkle. They look far more expensive than they are and are very comfortable.”
While there are currently no negative reviews on the website, some shoppers did suggest sizing up. “Beautiful colour shoes. Usually 7-7 1/2, so ordered the size 8. They fit and perfectly, so if in doubt size up,” read such a response. It’s also worth noting standard delivery costs £3.99 unless you spend over £60 on your order, though you can opt for free store collection.
Unfortunately, the dark red shoes are currently out of stock in all sizes for online shoppers. The shoes are typically available in sizes 3-8.
Shoppers might also struggle to find selected sizes and colours in-store, with the shoes proving wildly popular. However, your best bet is to try the online stock tool to check if you’ll be in luck at your local store. There’s no wide fit option, either.
Alternatively, shoppers might prefer M&S’s £35 silver Kitten Heel Slingback, the £45 black Studded Kitten Heel Pointed Slingback Shoes, or the £45 red Wide Fit Leather Kitten Heel Court Shoes.
Elsewhere, Next offers Burgundy Forever Comfort Kitten Heel Court Shoes in standard or wide fit for £29. Or if it’s a glittery look you’re after, Dune London has its Madelines – Rose Gold heels on sale for £52 or Celinna – Red heels reduced in price to £72.
