National Highways has shared the following information on the closure:
- The A14 in Cambridgeshire is closed westbound between J20 and J18 near Ellington early, February 17
- The closure is due to a serious collision involving a van and a lorry
- The crash was reported to Cambridgeshire police at around 9.15pm
- All emergency services are working at the scene
- Cambridgeshire Police leading the response at this stage.
- National Highways service providers are en route to assist with strategic closures on the approach
- The road is expected to remain closed throughout the night as collision investigation will be required
