A major carriageway in Lincolnshire was closed northbound on Saturday following a collision which caused a heavy goods vehicle to overturn.
“The A1 in Lincolnshire was closed northbound between the B1174 near Grantham and B6326 near Newark-on-Trent,” National Highways said.
National Highways said that the recovery will be “complex” and the carriageway closure could be in place for several hours as a result.
“If this closure impacts on your planned route, please allow extra journey time. Plan ahead, you may wish to re-route or even delay your journey,” National Highways said.
