Cat Deeley has found the perfect chic and cosy knitted maxi dress that’ll see you through the winter, and it’s currently slashed by 30% to under £100 from this high street fave
A cosy knit is an absolute staple for the colder months, but if you’re looking for a way to elevate your cosy look beyond a jumper or cardigan, then a knitted dress is the perfect solution. Not only will it keep you warm from head to toe, but it’s an effortlessly stylish outfit that’s easy to throw on whilst still being extra comfy.
And if you’re on the search for one to add to your wardrobe, Cat Deeley’s latest This Morning outfit is one you don’t want to miss. During today’s (Tuesday 3 November) episode, Cat wore the Cable Knit Funnel Neck Maxi Dress from Karen Millen, and everything from its cosy fit to its flattering silhouette made it a must-have.

The Cable Knit Maxi Dress is usually priced at £139 on the Karen Millen website, but for a limited time the high street favourite has slashed the maxi dress by 30%. This means you can currently snap it up for less than £100, with the discount bringing it down to £97.30.
Whilst usually a knitted dress can be a little bulky or slightly shapeless, the Karen Millen maxi dress manages to keep a flattering fit thanks to its carefully placed ribbed waist band. Not only does this break up the cable knit design, but it helps accentuate your waist and smooth over it, helping create the illusion of an hourglass silhouette.
The Cable Knit Funnel Neck Maxi Dress also features a ribbed knit funnel neckline which gives it an elegant twist, with a chunkier cable knit design across the rest of the dress which adds texture and a classic winter feel. The dress itself is made from a viscose-rich blend to ensure it hangs beautifully and stays comfortable without losing its structured silhouette.
This stops it looking too messy or casual, so you can still wear it for smarter occasions like the office or to an event without compromising on fit or comfort. You can still snap up Cat’s exact Cable Knit Maxi Dress in sizes XS to large, although we predict it won’t be long before they start selling out after she wore it on screen.
Alternatively, you can head to H&M where the Cable-Knit Midi Dress is £44.99, making it a little more affordable than Cat’s Karen Millen version. It also comes in both black and cream, and whilst it doesn’t have the contrasting knitted panels, it does still have a flattering fitted silhouette.
For a more oversized, relaxed fit, the £55 Wool Feel Cable Knit V Neck Maxi Jumper Dress from 4th and Reckless at ASOS is a great alternative. Meanwhile at Reserved Dress with Belt is now £35.99 down from £59.99, and comes in a dark plum colour that’s trending this season.
