Boots, LookFantastic, Space NK and Charlotte Tilbury are among the top picks selected by shopping writer Bethan Shufflebotham
Valentine’s Day is this Saturday (February 14), and for those on the hunt for a last-minute gift for the makeup and skincare buff in their life, we’ve got them covered. A gorgeously curated beauty box is one of the easiest ways to deliver a thoughtful, indulgent gift without the stress, and thankfully, there’s plenty to choose from.
These ready-made edits are designed to feel indulgent straight out of the packaging, making them ideal for partners, friends, or even a self-care treat. From spa-inspired self-care sets to glow-boosting makeup collections, there’s something to suit every style and budget.
Many of this year’s Valentine’s beauty boxes also offer exceptional value, with contents worth far more than the retail price. That means shoppers can give a premium gift without overspending – we’ve actually found one that costs just £20, but even the most expensive on our list is under £100.
Whether purchased for a last-minute surprise or planning a cosy night in, these edits promise instant pampering. Expect a mix of bestselling favourites, cult classics, and new discoveries to elevate any beauty routine.
Several of the sets also include travel sizes, making them perfect for trying high-end brands without committing to full sizes. From romantic rose-scented body care to date-night makeup heroes, these are the beauty boxes worth snapping up before they sell out.
Boots Luxury Bath & Body Pamper Box – £45, worth £155.50
With over £155 worth of products for just £45, this is one of the strongest value beauty bundles available for Valentine’s gifting, particularly for those who love indulgent body care The box contains 12 products, including 11 full-size items, spanning candles, skincare, bodycare, and beauty accessories.
Standout treats include the Truly Beauty Vanilla Baby Lux Body Oil, Frank Body Booty Sleep Mask and REHAB Hydrating Under Eye Patches five pairs. I’m a repeat repurchaser of the latter because their innovative design means they don’t slide down the face as the user wears them.
One shopper called it the ‘best box I’ve seen yet’, adding: “amazing products and such good price! So glad I found this.” That said, the selection leans heavily toward bath and body rather than makeup or high-end skincare, so it may not appeal to someone looking for more premium beauty or cosmetics-focused items.
LookFantastic The Valentine’s Day Edit – £46.74, worth over £215
LookFantastic rarely disappoints with their limited edition edits, and this is no exception, blending skincare, makeup, haircare and fragrance, making it a well-rounded gift. It even comes in a gorgeous pink bag which can double as a makeup bag.
Hero products include Dr Levy’s Eye Booster Concentrate, worth a whopping £99 alone, as well as the Elemis Rose Pro Collagen cleanser, Sol de Janeiro fragrance and Colour Wow XL Bombshell volumiser. Worth over £215, it was priced at £55, but those who use the code TREAT at the checkout can get it for £46.74.
One shopper wrote: “This is amazing and well worth the money and love the pink bag it’s in.” Another added: “Fantastic value. My wife loves these edit boxes full of so many great products she loves to try.”
However, some preferred last year’s edit, commenting: “Really disappointing compared to last year. Products were so much better in the 2025 edit.”
The Body Shop Valentine’s Collection – £20, worth £24.50
For those on a budget, The Body Shop’s Valentine’s Collection is a delightfully cohesive gift, especially for those who love those little everyday luxuries. The set is priced at £20, but is worth £24.50, so doesn’t quite pack the same savings as some of the other options, but is a lovely present nonetheless.
This compact kit centres around classic strawberry and rose favourites, including a British Rose Body Butter, Strawberry Lip Butter, Strawberry Hand Cream and British Rose Shower Gel. The Body Butter contains Community Fair Trade shea butter from Ghana, offering rich hydration in a travel-friendly format.
OK! Beauty Box The Pout & Pamper Galentine’s Edit – £24.99, worth over £105
I recently reviewed this edit and while it does make for an exceptional gift, for me, it’s the ultimate Galentine’s night in set. Priced under £25 with a value exceeding £100, it’s an affordable pick packed with recognisable brands like Hello Sunday, Nuxe, Eve Lom and more.
Personally, The Hello Sunday SPF50 lip balm is a standout for everyday wear, especially because I’m religious in my SPF application and the lips are often forgotten about. And to upgrade bath routines, the Aromatherapy Associates Revive Morning Bath & Shower Oil delivers a spa-like experience, while the Christophe Robin’s Hydrating Scrub is a gentle, pre-wash exfoliating treatment with an aftershave-like fragrance. It makes it feel extremely premium, though some shoppers who prefer fragrance free formulas may not agree.
There’s a noticeable emphasis on lip products, which may feel repetitive for those wanting more skincare or makeup diversity. But there’s still enough variety to make it perfect for a relaxed self-care evening or a thoughtful Galentine’s gift.
Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte’s Mystery L.O.V.E Look – £95, worth £215
Saving over 50% on seven iconic Charlotte Tilbury products makes this a seriously strong luxury deal for fans of the brand – the only catch? Some of the products are a complete surprise.
Designed as a complete date-night beauty wardrobe, the mystery set includes hero products such as Charlotte’s Magic Cream and a classic red Mark of a Kiss lipstick, alongside a complimentary heart-shaped makeup bag worth £55.
Because it’s a mystery edit, shoppers won’t know exactly what they’ll be receiving, with shades and specific contents potentially varying, which can be a gamble when buying for someone with very particular preferences. However, if the buyer knows their giftee loves Charlotte’s Magic Cream and are in need of a restock, this is worth £79 alone, and it works out at £13.57 as part of the deal. Another way of looking at it is that customers pay £79 for the cream, and get six additional products for £16.
Overall, this is a premium, gift-ready option that delivers high-end skincare and makeup in one box and is a must for Charlotte Tilbury loyalists.
Space NK The Blush and Glow Edit – £50, worth £117
Last but by no means least, there’s the Space NK Blush and Glow Edit, which is £50 but worth £117. Offering more than double the value, this edit is a great mid-price option featuring prestige brands.
The set includes minis of Westman Atelier’s lash-transforming Eye Want You Mascara in the shade Clean Black, Tatcha’s bestselling Kissu Lip Mask, Vyrao’s sensual Ludatrix eau de parfum, Summer Fridays’ must-try Blush Butter Balm in Toasted Terracota and a full-size REFY Lip Gloss in Rosewood. Together, they make for an effortless, joy-boosting routine of selfcare.
One shopper said: “Bought this for myself as a Valentine’s Day gift and it didn’t disappoint. I’d wanted to try some of the products for a while so it was a no brainer. Good value for money, great products and cute bag. The Vyrao perfume mini was a highlight I didn’t expect as it wasn’t on my radar before buying this.”
Another added: “I love all the products. I hadn’t even expected to like all of the set as I’m quite picky! The mascara was a treat. We get two lip products, I wish one of them was something different. My favourite is the blush. So creamy and it blends like a dream. Great set to treat yourself.”
