coronation street Spoiler follows.
coronation street Star Bill Fellowes has opened up about his own “surprise” when Stu Carpenter’s secret was revealed.
A double charge on Friday (August 5th) led to Stu’s long-lost daughter Bridget having nothing to do with him, despite his insistence that he would never “hurt” anyone. I was finally explained why I didn’t want a relationship either.
In the latest episode, Stu’s ex-wife Lucy appears on the cobblestones, warning Stu to stay away from Bridget and threatening him about the girl he “killed.”
When Stu staggered this threat, yasmin followed – Her boyfriend’s ex-wife shared the horrifying story of Stu confessing to cheating and killing a young waitress called Charlie Walter.
Whether or not this is true is not entirely clear, with Stu claiming he was wrongfully imprisoned for 27 years for the crime.
“when [producer] Ian MacLeod gave me the storyline first.I thought it was a great storyline.I liked the twist.Although he had an affair with a young waitress when he was married and had kids at home. , it was also a surprise!
“But that’s why I call Stu a flawed character. I love this story because Stu has flaws and I love that he made mistakes.”
see next week Stu was arrested in the aftermath of this revelation. But he is determined to clear his name once and for all.
“The first important thing is to get the people he loves and cares about to believe in him. Yasmeen, Alya and Zeedan.” Not only does Stu need to prove his innocence… there are many factors at work in this story, and this bomb has just exploded.”
Fellowes has been keeping one of the soap’s biggest secrets for months, but the actor revealed he didn’t really have a hard time protecting the bomb.
“I didn’t tell anyone as an actor because my sister was watching intently and didn’t want me to ruin it,” he said. “I don’t want to ruin it for people. I know sometimes people want to know spoilers, but deep down, they want to surprise me, so I’m going to look at it from that perspective.” I have.”
He also considered whether he’d seen fans guess the twist correctly. It was right, but no one guessed why Stu was in prison, no one guessed how long Stu was in prison. “
Stu became a staunch fan favorite last year, but the Fellows hope audience reaction will change following Lucy’s accusations.
“People will wonder if Stu is telling the truth, and viewers will feel sorry for Yasmin, because she also met a guy who only causes trouble,” he admitted.
“It’s really hard for Yasmine and a lot of people will be like, ‘Let’s get him out!'” He’s a nice guy, but let’s be honest, he’s just an annoyance for Nazir!
“I think a lot of people are invested in Yasmin and want her to be happy. Just as Yasmin started to find out… this big secret was revealed and she’s been a big part of his life.” I just found out I’m dealing with someone who’s been keeping a secret from her.”
As for whether Stu can turn things around, Fellows predicted:
“We’ve known Stu for a long time, but I think people will start to doubt him and want to protect Yasmin more than Stu. It’s going to be really interesting. The audience will Do you believe or not? I believe him!”
coronation street It airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and will be streamed on ITV Hub.
